Kirsch center chosen out of 10 schools for award
De Anza College has another reason to celebrate the Kirsch Center for Environmental Studies. The Kirsch Center was recently chosen as one of the top 10 buildings by the Center for the Built Environment at UC Berkley.

Hinson center cooks food for Al Gore
Night supervisor Albert Gamiochipi received the order of a lifetime when members of Al Gore's entourage called in a dinner order last Tuesday for the visiting former Vice-president before his talk at the Flint Center.
Gamiochipi prepared the meal for Gore with the other members of his team Maria Calderon from Mexico, Seng Kaing from Cambodia and Annie Tran from Vietnam.…

Threat clears buildingServices center emptied after bomb threat
A bomb threat was called into De Anza College's Student and Community Services building at approximately 3:25 p.m. last Thursday. Campus police searched the building, but nothing was found.

DASB Senate meets to learn procedures
The student senate held a parliamentary procedure workshop to increase productivity within the De Anza Associated Student Body. Highlights of the workshop included team building and the teaching of general guidelines during senate meetings. The event occurs twice a year and was run by the senate's Administration committee.…

ICC discusses Club Day, Welcome Week
In preparation for De Anza's quarterly Club Day, the Inter Club Council met to plan the events of the day. Club Day, the ICC's most important event, showcases all of De Anza's clubs. Seven clubs won prize money for their participation in Welcome Week for assisting students with directions to classes.…
