Officers demand higher wages
Student security officers at De Anza College believe they have been unjustly passed over for a raise this year and have begun to press the district for an increase in their wages.
In a letter signed by all the student officers and sent out to De Anza faculty and staff members, they allege that all other student employees at De Anza and Foothill College have received an increase in pay for 2008, including the Foothill College student security officers, but that they were unfairly left out.…

Multiple collisions on Stevens Creek
Not one, not two, but three cars collided next to De Anza College on Stevens Creek Boulevard last Wednesday, holding up traffic and causing a stir.

Honors working with UCLA
The Honors Program is in discussion with administration to figure out what needs to be done to satisfy UCLA's requirements for TAP. UCLA does not have TAAs (Transfer Admission Agreements) or TAGs (Transfer Admission Guarantee) with any schools. It only offer TAPs (Transfer Alliance Program).…

Measure C Bond Will Finally Move Forward
After a lengthy legal battle in the California Supreme Court, the Foothill De Anza College District is finally clear to move forward with its $490.8 million Measure C Bond, which was approved by 65.69 percent of the district's voters in June 2006.
According to documents published on the district's website, the bond money will go towards modernizing and maintaining both campuses and to improve safety and fund critical equipment and technology needs.…

DASB SenateThe De Anza College Associated Student Body senate is the governing body of De Anza College. It meets every week on Wednesday afternoons in the Student Council Chambers in the basement of the Campus Hinson Center.
