A 41-year-old Sunnyvale man was found passed out in his car with a can of beer next to him in Parking Lot B around 2 p.m. on Thursday, according to De Anza/Foothill Chief of Police, Ronald Levine.

After the man was discovered by a student officer, Officer Kuno was the first to arrive at the scene. Three police vehicles and four police officials were also present at the scene shortly afterwards.

According to Chief Levine, the man had no identification. Police also found alcohol and syringes in the man's car.

The man, who is not a De Anza College student, was on campus waiting for his girlfriend who is a student.

The man was cited and released.
