The United Nations Children's Fund, also known as UNICEF, is an international coalition dedicated to the education, health and overall well-being of children all over the world.

UNICEF specifically helps orphaned, sick, and homeless children who are victims of disasters. De Anza was the first college in California to have a UNICEF Club.

De Anza UNICEF members represent over 20 countries and have donated over $2,500 to UNICEF projects worldwide. Join this global community by attending the next meeting or by joining unicef_da in Yahoo! groups or sending an e-mail to: rchamp59@yahoo.com, subject UNICEF.

The next meeting will take place Wednesday, March 15 at 11:30 a.m. in meeting Room 1, which is across from Conference Room A.
