Students leaving De Anza College's Parking Lot B Monday night noticed what appeared to be snow on the ground.

The snow-like substance was actually fire retardant. According to De Anza security, a car in Parking Lot B caught fire around 6 p.m. Monday night. The Santa Clara County Fire Department arrived shortly after to extinguish the blaze. De Anza security said no one was hurt.
