Supplemental Instruction is offered in conjunction with some courses by arrangement with the course instructor. Regular attendance is required for group tutoring but drop-in group tutoring is available for some courses.
Individual tutoring is for students who need assistance throughout the whole quarter and need more one-on-one time. Students meet with their tutor two hours a week. Online tutoring students submit their questions, and specialy trained tutors will respond within 48 hours or less.
There is drop-in tutoring for students who have a brief question. A "brief" session is 30 minutes. There are also study skills workshops available for a variety of other subjects.
