BOOKS NEEDED FOR LIBRARY SALE
The Library is accepting donations of books and DVDs for their annual sale, which takes place during the last week of spring quarter and throughout the summer. Bring book donations to the Library Reference Desk. Donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes.

NEW CAMPUS ABROAD OPPORTUNITY: VIETNAM in VIETNAM
Application Deadline: June 15
Students can earn 8 De Anza credits while studying in Vietnam from July 16 to August 12. Students will spend one week at De Anza, two weeks in Hanoi and one week in Saigon in a hands-on, intensive program with 10 field trips. Courses are: INTL 5-Global Issues & Perspectives, INTL 11-Vietnamese Literature, POLI 3 -International Relations and ELIT 10-Introduction to Literature. The cost: is $1,250 plus Airfare. Partial scholarships are available. The trip is limited to 20 students. NEW ART ON CAMPUS
A new sculpture titled "Trinom" by Magma Latin, a former De Anza sculpture student, will be installed at the Mary Avenue entrance to campus beginning June 11, to be completed in two weeks.

COLOR STRUCK: EXAMINE RACISM USING HUMOR
Monday, June 4, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Film, TV, theater actor, playwright, comedian and radio broadcaster, Donald E. Lacy, will perform parts of his one-man show "Color Struck," in Admin 119. The show examines institutional racism using humor. For information, contact Christine Chai at 408-864-5560.

POET, ACTIVIST RUSSELL GONZAGA TO APPEAR
Tuesday, June 5, 12:30-2
Poet, activist, cultural worker, arts educator, writer and spoken word artist Russell Gonzaga will present his poetry and give a talk at the Writing and Reading Center. He has led three winning San Francisco Poetry Slam teams, and his work has appeared in various anthologies and publications.
