What happened: George Smith was elected as the 2008-2009 ICC chair of finance. "The game for me is that I'm doing this for the students and for the ICC, both of whom I love dearly," he said. Because nobody ran for ICC Chair of Programs or ICC Chair, the election for those positions has been postponed until the Feb. 27 ICC meeting. The deadline to enter the election is Tuesday, Feb. 26 at noon.

Disabled Students Unlimited was approved for their requested travel funds for workshops and seminars on disabled rights in Sacramento from Feb. 10-13 for registration and lodging for six students and an adviser, at $186.43 per person.

Why this matters: The ICC Club budget now stands at $8,751 and the ICC travel budget now stands at $5,995.
