Quirks of priority registration unfair

Another kink in the system, which is a bit contradictory, is that high school students in Middle College and College Now programs receive early registration; whereas regular high school students are not counted as continuing students, and so they cannot accumulate the credits needed to advance their registration dates.
The only part of the early registration system that seems to make sense is the part following it. Remaining students are given specific dates to register based on the number of credits they have completed. The more credits completed, the earlier the date.
This system makes sense because once students have their majors decided, he or she should be given the best chance at entering those classes which will aid them in achieving their academic goals.
Although the current system of determining priority registration status of students is acceptable, students should be made more aware of the possibilities involved in receiving priority status, and information regarding priority for certain groups should be disclosed
