Planetarium renamed after Fujitsu donation
he renovated De Anza College planetarium will be renamed "Fujitsu Planetarium at De Anza College" at a ceremony on May 6 after a $1 million donation from Fujitsu.
De Anza will spend half of the $1 million donation on planetarium maintenance and future program costs, and the other half on Fujitsu products.…

Mural unveiled after one year of weather protection
The "Subliminalities" student mural, created in 2001 for building L8 in De Anza College's L Quad, was uncovered last week for the first time since late 2006.
Art students created the outdoor mural in an extracurricular effort using acrylic on wood. After its initial unveiling seven years ago, weather conditions damaged it.…

Possible change from DASB for student election voting systems
An alternative voting system to be used in the upcoming elections, called approval voting, was proposed by De Anza Student Body Senator Robin Claassen to the senate election committee during its March 14 meeting. The proposal was not approved.
